Has anyone here successfully created an animated image (series of overlays, transparencys...etc) and exported it to video tape?
    How?
I have created a sequence, using a JPEG as the background with a moving transparency overlaid.
When I try to export to tape, I get nothing.
Also why cant I import a quicktime movie into
Premier, and export that to tape?
It seems to work OK otherwise, exporting and rendering captured video.
    Can anyone help?
Can anyone tell me where I could (download?) a copy of the userguide?

    Thanks very much.

    THanks I sussed it.
For info, Project settings (such as resolution) must be the same as the file settings.
You can apply this by applying the RESIZE filter to any clip. This resets all clip properties to the same as the project, and can then be exported.
